Chittagong Port is considered the heart of the economy of Bangladesh. The geographic location ofthis port creates the opportunity of easy and cost-effective foreign trade to be carried out through thisport with all the South Asian countries as well as other Asian countries. Besides, sufficient and lowcostlabour is readily available here. For these reasons, Chittagong Port holds much potential as ahighly promising regional sea-port.
