A total of 747 Entries were received from different parts of the country for this year's competition. 368 cartoonists took part in this competition in two age groups; Group A (Ka) 13-18 years and Group B (Kha) 19-35 years. Besides the winners 20 cartoonists from each group recdived the credit of Special Mention. The Winners' names have been announced at the inaugural ceremony of an exhibition organized with all the winning and special mention cartoons. The exhibition was inaugurated in the Drik Gallery, Dhaka at 3:30 pm on Friday, 7 December 2007 and remained open for all till the 11th December 2007, everyday from 3pm to 8pm.

TIB published a compilation of Anti-Corruption cartoons. This was the first publication ever of this type in Bangladesh. All the prize winning cartoons of TIB organized Anti-Corruption Cartoon Competition, 2006 and some very popular Anti-Corruption cartoons published in different national dailies were included in this compilation. In a discussion seminar titled cartoon for public awareness organized by TIB on the occasion of launching this book speakers asserted that cartoon is acting as a catalyst in the present anticorruption drive. They have depicted the irregularities and injustice in the society and were able to create a deep impression in the mind of the people.
