Workshop held
A workshop on Encouraging Volunteers towards Anti-Corruption Movement was held at the Bhawal National Park in Gazipur on 15 January. Professor Khan Sarwar Murshid, Chairman, Board of Trustees, TIB, Professor Muzaffer Ahmad, Member, Board of Trustees, programme officials of TIB and around two hundred volunteers were present at the workshop. TIB Chairman inaugurated the program. TIB volunteer and a student of Dhaka University Tanim Nawshad presented the keynote paper titled Qualities of a Good Leader. Programme Officer of TIB Ekram Hossain facilitated the workshop.
Meeting with the President of Chittagong Chamber
TIB Research Officer Sydur Rahman Molla had a meeting with the President of Chittagong Chambers of Commerce and Industries (CCCI) on 12 January. The meeting was held at chambers office. Discussions regarding difficulties of port took place at the meeting. The President gave assurance of all-out cooperation in this regard.
