Advocate Sultana Kamal elected Chairperson of TIB, Selina Hossainand Mahfuz Anam elected as Secretary General and Treasurer respectively.
Dhaka, Friday, 22 April, 2011:
Executive Director of Ain o Shalish Kendro and former Adviser to the Caretaker Government,Sultana Kamal has been elected Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of TransparencyInternational Bangladesh (TIB) with effect from April 23, 2011. Ms SelinaHossain, an Executive Board member of UNESCO has been elected Secretary General, while Mr Mahfuz Anam,Editor & Publisher of the Daily Star has been elected Treasurer. The elections were held at the GeneralMeeting of the Board of Trustees today, held in TIB.

The Board thanked the outgoing office -bearers for their committed and inspirational roleMr M Hafizuddin Khan as Chairman, Prof Abdullah Abu Sayeed as Secretary General and Sultana Kamal as Treasurer.
They will continue to be Trustees of TIB.
