Munshiganj, 20 December 2023: CCC Munshiganj, in collaboration with the Department of Women Affairs, orchestrated a campaign on the Right to Information (RTI) Act 2009 at CCC Munshiganj Office on 20 December.
The event aimed to educate the participants on filling out forms to seek information under the RTI Act. A total of 31 marginalised women, trainees of the Department of Women Affairs, Munshiganj, were oriented on the RTI Act. Md. Mahbub Hossain, Area Coordinator of CCC Munshiganj, delivered a presentation on the Act. Following the presentation, a quiz competition on it was held, and three winners were awarded.
After the campaign, a discussion took place at CCC Munshiganj Office, presided over by CCC Munshiganj President Md. Fazlur Rahman. He encouraged the trainees to play a role in building a corruption-free country. Speakers in the discussion highlighted people's right to information as fundamental to realising all other rights.
