Moulvibazar & Madaripur, 2, 6 & 7 November 2023: Information Fairs were recently held in Sreemangal, Moulvibazar District, and Madaripur to raise awareness about the Right to Information Act, 2009, and its application. Organized by the Committee of Concerned Citizens (CCC) in collaboration with local authorities, the fairs featured the participation of government and non-government institutions. Attendees received information about submitting information requests under the RTI Act, 2009. In Sreemangal (02 November 2023), 29 institutions participated, and activities included a rally, campaign on the RTI Act, public hearing on health services, and various competitions. In Madaripur, a two-day fair on 06 & 07 November 2023 emphasized the importance of transparency, accountability, and citizen's right to information, featuring discussions, public hearings, quiz competitions, and cultural programs.
